Some said it is a marriage matched from Heaven, how else can you explain two people who never met but grew up in the same town and eventually crossing roads in the same Uni in the United States and then…. don’t let me spoil the fun of the story! Just one thing to say. For some, distance between two hearts is not an obstacle; rather a great reminder of just how strong true love can be. I strongly believe in that and I am more than happy to prove that by way of these beautiful love story of Amarachi and Cj who got married recently in Umuahia, Abia state and captured by Ebonix pictures. Amarachi

Career: Pharmacist.

Amy has always wanted a career in the medical field as young girl, motivated by her mom who is a Registered Nurse. When she came to the United States in 2006, she obtained a Bachelors in Biology and went on to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy for her PharmD. She currently works for RiteAid.

Chijindu

Career: Medical student and Registered Nurse.

CJ started his career as critical care nurse after getting his Bachelors in Nursing at University of Maryland. In the summer of 2009, CJ went off to Howard University College of Medicine where he will receive his degree in Doctor of Medicine in May 2013. CJ will train as a radiologist at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center subsequently. CJ’s interest is in global health & medical missions

                                                

 

How we met

Amy was taking her pre-pharmacy classes while CJ was taking his pre-med classes when they met at Morgan State University in Baltimore in 2008. They started off as friends and still maintained their relationship even as they went off to different schools in 2009 to pursue their career paths. But miles could not separate these two friends. 

For them, distance made their love grow stronger. Anyone can catch your eye, but it takes someone special to catch your heart over a distance. We felt this strong bond of love for each other, and we consequently started dating in summer of 2010. Since then, we have shared our joys, happiness and tears together. You see, each day we love each other more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.
