There’s a very natural theme emerging on the blog this week, with all of our features making the most of the beautiful countryside.  Today’s gorgeously woodsy styled shoot takes inspiration from magic and beauty of the forest.  It reminds me of the ‘Unfurled’ inspiration board I created a few weeks ago, embracing the botanicals trend with it’s succulent green tones and rustic style.  From the imagination of photographer Corette Faux and florist Joanne Truby, the combination of ferns, moss and bark with white tulips and sweet peas is a pretty play on rustic chic.

Wooden crates act as makeshift chairs for a prettily decorated table.  Floral arrangements take on a wild, carefree style while elegant vintage china and lovely linens add an altogether more sophisticated touch.

Luscious green ferns displayed in glass bottles and tumbling from the drawers of this dresser create the a gorgeous spot to display a buttercream iced wedding cake.

A barefoot bride with her floral crown appears like a forest fairy among the tall silvery trees.

The neutral, autumnal palette is the perfect choice for the rustic bride, with golden orange and yellow highlights popping against the fallen leaves and bark.
