Good morning readers!  This morning we’re venturing off to Portugal with the wonderful Lounge Fotografia for Marina & Carlos’ pretty engagement shoot.  This gorgeous couple {seriously, aren’t they just gorgeous?!} picked a pretty woodland location for a romantic stroll and picnic filled with personal trinkets and favourite things.  Marina wore a beautiful floral crown in some of the shots, paired with a floaty white dress – the perfect look for a sweet summer’s day shoot.  I also adore the props. My favourite? The ‘para sempre’ sign, which means forever….

Here’s there story so far ~

We met in a bar and were introduced by a mutual friend.  For the next two years we saw each other regularly, but watched shyly from a distance not talking to each other.  Finally, Carlos decided to take a leap and ask me out on a date.  That was 9 wonderful years ago!

After 8 years of dating, we decided to take on a common project, a house.  It was then Carlos proposed, on a beautiful sunny day. It was perfect.
