Hot off of the press… WWW sponsors The UK Alliance of Wedding Planners have announced some exciting news:

The leading industry body for the UK wedding planning market announces that wedding suppliers can now join the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners.  

In recent years, an increasing number of wedding suppliers have asked the UKAWP Directors whether there is some way they can become more involved in, or join the UKAWP. For this reason the UKAWP decided to undertake market research amongst a wide variety of suppliers to establish interest levels.

Sandy Moretta, Membership Director says ‘ The research overwhelmingly suggested that it would make sense to allow wedding suppliers who adhere to our Code of Business Practice and who work, or want to work, closely with professional wedding planners, to join us in some way. We are therefore pleased to announce the launch of a 2 year pilot for ‘Wedding Supplier Membership’ starting this month’.

‘Many of our events and Workshops are open to non wedding planners, so introducing a form of membership for wedding suppliers seemed the next logical step for the UKAWP’ explains Bernadette Chapman, Training Director.
