This week we had to beautiful Italy for the intimate engagement shoot of Monica and Luca. I just adore these romantic back street shots, the vintage bicycle and that fab retro Vespa. Take me to Italy now!

“This portrait session took place in the beautiful city of Bologna, Italy. We decided not to photograph the classic tourist attractions that everyone knows but rather to enhance the beauty of its hidden streets of the historic centre, its porticos and the beautiful palette of reds and oranges.  So we went for an intimate walk in the Jewish ghetto, using an old bicycle (funny note: the bike had no brakes and in Bologna there are loads of downhill streets, this resulted in a lot of fun). Also, we photographed Monica and Luca on their 50′s Vespa, a bit of cliche for italian people, but still awesome!”
