Lovelies, I’m pretty sure you’re going to adore today’s romantic sunrise styled shoot, which took place at a sprawling 19th century private estate in Nashville, Tennessee, at dawn. There is something so serene + enchanting about the early morning hours, and I love the idea of hosting a sunrise or breakfast wedding celebration (remember this breathtaking sunrise wedding!?) There are lots of pretty details for you to be inspired by today and incorporate into your wedding design; my favorite being the moss + gold elements scattered throughout the tablescape. Here’s more about the inspiration behind the shoot from Holley, the artistic director:

We decided to forego the idea of a tailored theme in favor of something simple, attainable, and natural that would let the most gorgeous elements in the shoot speak for themselves. It was an early morning for us all, but it was well worth it — we were all speechless when the sun came over the trees!

The simple, flowing chiffon dress by Claire La Faye looked gorgeous in the natural, woodsy setting. And handcrafted headpieces by Emily Riggs Bridal completed the bride’s ethereal ensemble…

The table setting is all romance, with touches of gold, stacks of vintage books, mercury glass candles, olive branches (I just love those!), and warm, overflowing floral arrangements by Color My World. I made the “chandelier” out of a DIY lamp kit, a wooden floral wreath, twine, and a few yards of fabric. They swayed ever so gently in the morning breeze and cast a warm glow on the table, which was handmade by Nashville-based wedding photographer and craftsman, Spencer Combs of Orchard Tables. This is a look that any thrifty bride can accomplish on her own!
