Wedding Activities for Men

via

Wedding activities for men isn’t always the first thing that comes to mind when planning things to do the day of your wedding. In fact the groom and groomsmen are often times left waiting hours at a time for things to get underway on wedding day. If you have ever been the groom or groomsmen then you understand wedding activities for men are few and far between. Thankfully there are some creative Event Planners out there..ahem ahem that have found a few wedding activities for men to keep you free from the pits of bloody boredom. We aren’t talking about the typical lets have a cigar and reflect on childhood memories either. These are wedding activities men will enjoy since they occupy your time while waiting for the bride and bridesmaids to get dressed to the nines. 1. Personalized photo shoot Lets face it, men are just as into seeing themselves in images as women. So why not give them a male bonding time during the groom’s special day. Throw away the thoughts of just standing together and giving a fake smile. We want you to be relaxed and more in your element for the shoot. The more natural the photo the better.

2. Wedding Day Games Before it’s time to get into your suit or tuxedo, grab all the men and go out for a easy friendly game. We say easy because you do have a wedding to attend and we want you to be as fresh as possible. A simply round of golf, billiards, or croquet are some good ideas for wedding activities for men.

3. Grooming It’s a very important day so why not set aside time for the men to get groomed? Women go through a ritual it seems on the wedding day to look their finest so it only makes sense that one of the wedding activities for men be grooming. There are plenty of grooming lounges in the area that you can schedule and appointment to the day of your wedding to get your men looking dapper.

4. Gifting Now why in the world would the groomsmen need to give gifts when the bride and groom have 300 people giving them gifts? Good question and glad you asked. A private gift giving session between the groom and his men is a special moment that should be captured. It’s a way that groomsmen can truly say thank you for the friendship they have solidified with the groom. Isn’t being the groomsmen enough? NO. So pick out something that is a little more sentimental than whats on the registry and prepare a short speech.

5. Trip down memory lane For your last idea for wedding activities for men, consider taking a trip to places where the groom and his soon to be bride had great moments. Now you will need the help of the bride to tell you where to go and what exactly happened at those locations. We think this is a great idea to further show the groom how much they have grown to love each other. Not such a great idea for destination weddings. Final – Please don’t think you can do all of this at one wedding. I mean you do have a wedding to go to. Pick a one or two activities and make them the best that you can. If you think you wont have time, ask the made of honor what they have planned and how long it will take and go from there.
