A ‘Woodland Wedding’ styled shoot by Anne Marie King – Designed to inspire stylish couples opting for a more relaxed and quirky outdoor wedding in a stunning rural woodland setting. We love it and think the look and feel is just like the woodland ranch weddings seen in America!! Woodland weddings are hugely popular right now and this one is a stunner, with wide open spaces for your ceremony and ready made tables for dinner in the woods!!

Huge Burst of Wild flowers

Wild displays of flowers, featuring natural elements of moss and bark which compliment the surroundings. A vibrant palette of coral, orange, hot pink, lime, yellow and green is used to create a huge burst of colour amongst the natural tones of the woodland.

Delphiniums, Dahlias, Hydrangea, Sweet peas, Peonies, Gloriosa, Roses, Bells of Ireland, Daisies, Rosemary, Dill, Fountain grass, Fern and Green bell are just a few of the flowers which are used to create this striking wedding scene.

The pathway to the ceremony area is lined with hanging glass jars filled with pretty wild flowers. A Floral arch full of flowers and fern dresses the central ceremony area along with floral designs placed on log stumps. Pretty hand picked style bunches of flowers hung from shepherd hooks are dotted down the aisle, accompanied by long flowing ribbon chandeliers, hanging above the bride and groom.

A huge log table is used for the celebration meal, which is positioned on the edge of woodland with views over fields. The table is dressed with striking mini floral trees, which are framed by glass bottles filled with stems of flowers. Moss and hessian are used through the centre of the table adding rustic appeal. Lace table cloths compliment the vintage crockery which is placed on log slices. Pretty details of striped ribbon and brown luggage tags are used for name place settings. Log stumps create seating topped with boho style cushions adding further pops of vibrant colour and texture to the table design.

The ultimate woodland venue

Set within the natural beauty of a 250 acre English Country Manor Estate in North Yorkshire amidst woodland, Greenland and meadowland you will find one of Yorkshires hidden gems, with a variety of unique Glamping accommodation, a huge array of onsite activities and adventures, lots of local wildlife and an un-commercialised approach, this venue instantly lifts your spirits and makes you feel like you have escaped reality.

If you go down to the woods be sure to catch some magical charm! Hidden amongst beautiful tall pine trees beside the Glamping Village lies a natural woodland open ceremony area that glistens in the sunlight and can accommodate up to 100 guests seated or 200 standing. Using natural resources within the Estate seating options include Tree Trunk Trestle, Tree Stump or Hay Bale seating.

Delicate ethereal dress with a pop of colour

The woodland dresses create a soft and wistful look for a relaxed bohemian bride.  With a nod to 70s femininity, the dresses are made from sumptuous crepes, delicate lace and sheer silks and keep a simple wearable silhouette.  Soft blooms in ivory, pale greys and barely there pinks decorate surfaces, fine trims peep from seams and tiny matte pearl buttons trail, telling a dreamlike story.

The Soon Bride signature is a juxtaposition of delicate vintage style and intricate details. A unique look is created for brides seeking to sprinkle their wedding with the grace of days gone by using treasured craftsmanship, carefully referenced construction and a dash of English elegance.
