Most brides are overcome with emotion when they try on their perfect dress. For Yen, touring the Burlington Golf and Country Club, the couple’s wedding venue, gave her that same feeling of overwhelming joy. “I lingered in the background fighting inexplicable tears as I envisioned every detail,” Yen shares. Inspired by sweet, soft and natural details, Yen and Andrew’s vision of a modern and romantic wedding day came to life with the perfect ceremony playlist, stunning floral arrangements and gold adornments. The two honoured their cultural traditions with a meaningful tea ceremony, and surprised their guests with a lion dance performance at their reception. “Our wedding day could not have been more joyful. In every moment, we felt so much love and support from our family and friends,” says Yen.
