Rustic Chic Meets Vintage Barn Wedding With A French Twist

Rustic Chic Meets Vintage Barn Wedding With A French Twist

via

Our next bride jokingly referred to her theme as "rustic chic meets vintage barn with a french countryside twist" AKA it covers all cute things in any wedding...ever. And we definitely agree that Beata and Charlie's rustic chic meets vintage barn wedding with a french twist is pretty darn cute and has everything we could ever want in a wedding.

All this wedding magic was put together perfectly by Going Lovely and photographed by Kirsten Julia. We are quite certain you are going to OMG through the whole wedding, and then want more. So, hop over to the gallery and check out the entire sha-bang here.

What The Bride Would Have Done Differently:
I think we would have skipped the first look, and seen each other for the first time during the ceremony. I understand why it is such an advantage to do the first look; the ability get most of your pictures together done before the ceremony, so that you have more time during the reception. Our mistake, was that our first look was near the area where guests were arriving and we were running late. Guests began to arrive and it was kind of stressful. I would have skipped the first look or picked a location that was not near the ceremony site, like maybe back at the hotel.

Please Read - Best quote we have ever heard from a bride ... EVER!
My favorite part of my wedding day and my life is standing at the alter. I felt like I was floating during the entire ceremony, but there was one moment when I reminded myself to remember this moment. I took a breath and looked at the crowd filled with all the people I love in this world, turned all the way around to look at my beautiful bridesmaids who are more like sisters than friends, and finally looked at my main man.

This guy that I love more than what feels like all the love in the universe is about to become all mine. I'm actually surprised I didn't pass out or fart- it was too much happiness for one human body to compute.

On their decorations and color theme:
We wanted everything to look pretty, easy, and most importantly feel like "us". A lot of our decor was from our home or really similar to how we decorate our apartment. I was attracted to colors like blush, peach, grey, and coral because I think they compliment everything so well and are timeless shades if done right.

DIY Projects
We did make a few things that we are still so proud of. With help from his parent's neighbor, Charlie made all the beautiful wooden flower boxes that were our centerpieces. We also made the "Spirits" marquee letters that hung over the bar, the B&C send off flags, our Save the Dates were photo strips we turned into magnets, and we designed or altered most paper products to fit our personality.
