Fun filled Summer wedding with a dash of radiant orchid

Good Morning to all trulovers, how are you? I trust that we all had fabulous weekends? In a rare occurance I actually had a whole day off on Saturday and went to Hogwarts! It was such fun and of course you had to take as many pictures as possible!

It is on with another fabulous week on the blog from catching up with previous Belle Brides, ideas for proposing in Paris and be sure to view the absolutely beautiful wedding venues in Provence on Thursday. Starting with the summer wedding of Virginie and Pierre in the heart of the Lubéron Hills with just a touch of Pantone colour of the year Radiant Orchid, captured by Studio A&Q.

This wedding is an advert in itself for the beautiful and relaxed charm of a wedding in the South of France and one of my favourite styling items is the bride's coral jacket, just wonderful.

Bride Virginie takes us through the enchanting story of their wedding day: " In the heart of the Lubéron hills, between Gordes and Saint Pantaléon, following a small road edged by garrigue bushes and centenaries olive trees, after zig-zaging in the countryside we finally met our domaine, a design villa gently placed up on the hills.

The story of our wedding is first of all the story of our first encounter with this unique and magic place, which immediately evokes parties and friends reunions in warm summer nights, around the pool, or in the shadow of the vineyard foliage. The place has guided us, showing us the way to create the ceremony we wanted to offer to our guests. We chose an atmosphere châmpetre et chic, relaxed, cool and easy, to be in harmony with the spontaneous decoration of the garden, and the simple and basic design of the villa.

We chose pink as the colour for the ladies dresses and groom's and bestmen's ties to give a sparkling note to a very simple ceremony. The orange and the retro style of the Citroën Mehari parked in the garden was a reminder of the Provencal sun and the warmness and the fun of a long-time friends gathering. "
