Edgy + Feminine Wedding Inspiration

Edgy + Feminine Wedding Inspiration

via

Today's fun styled shoot, photographed beautifully by Chantel Marie, is all about pushing boundaries and juxtaposing seemingly opposite looks. The design team from Attention 2 Detail Events wanted to style a setting that would inspire brides-to-be with a combination of edgy + feminine details, like studded votives, loose, organic florals, hand-dyed textiles and bold paper goods, to create a layered + dynamic feel. And who says you can't have a little fun with your wedding day look?! I love that they paired the bride's dress with a chic black blazer and that the bridesmaids wore tuxedo-inspired pieces in a fitted, feminine silhouette. Here's a bit more of the backstory of the shoot from the designers:

I wanted to create a look that still exuded a femininity and prettiness but had an edge for a bride and groom that wanted something different or didn't want to completely take their wedding style into a fluffy and frilly place. I used a variety of pink shades to help bring out a softer side, but paired them with black and white stripes, leather, and even studded details to bring out more of an edgy look...

Such a pretty, lush bouquet by Blossom Sweet!

Love the look of the flatware? It's super easy to achieve this look: simply wrap a coil of bendable wire, in hot pink, to the stems of each piece!
