A table has always been the centre of my house, it has witnessed a lot of family gatherings. I believe the table is the real heart of my house. It's got multipurpose functions serving as food-prep surface, playground for kids and at the same time a place where I can sit down for comforting meals and heart-felt conversation. If the table spoke, it would whisper some family secrets straight into your ear.

For some time I've been dreaming to assemble a new, bigger table for my kitchen. I knew I wanted a workstation and eating table combo. I've been following one of my favourite designers Ana White, who came up with a Farmhouse Table which adds a lot of character to the kitchen. MDF Board Shelf, which Simon presented some time ago, will make a perfect addition to my rustic style table.
