#145: Pastel Brights

Hello brides! After a gorgeously sunny weekend it finally feels like Spring is well and truly on it's way! The shops are filled with SS14 collections, and as a pastel-wearing kind of girl it's a welcome relief to see the return of fresh, pretty hues to the rails! My favourite look this season comes from Ted Baker, who has managed to successfully marry barely-there pastels with their brighter, neon counterparts. It's girly, yet grown up, pretty yet stylish. The collection is filled with bold floral patterns too - and so perfectly on trend for 2014 weddings! Here, a palette of buttery yellows, soft peach and blush is accented with pops of coral, fuchsia and a touch of aqua blue. Blousey peonies, ranunculus and garden roses contrast with wide open poppies, dahlias and chrysanthemums, filling pretty glassware on the tables. Bridesmaids showcase bright bouquets against the softest pastel dresses, and guests sip the sweetest summer punches. Wouldn't you love to plan a wedding like this?
