Sarah and Matt have a love story that was TEN years in the making! They both grew up in the same county in rural Virginia and attended school together from kindergarten through high school but were never in the same circle of friends. It wasn't until their ten year high school reunion that they connected!

A mutual love of the country inspired their rural/rustic feel for the wedding. Sarah choose several DIY elements to create including custom mason jars for guests and bouquets for her bridesmaids maid out of book pages. A creative element was their ode to the classic children's book The Giving Tree with their invitation suite! They married in a barn, and celebrate their reception at Pocahantas State Park, complete with a couple guitars - a cake and a guest book, both to signify groom Matt's pursuit of a career in country music!
