I Propose | Elaborate on how the two of you met or on how the proposal went down.

Anthony and I are High School Sweethearts, we have known each other since we were 14. We became very close friends over the years, and this friendship blossomed into a romance, which started with us sharing a very romantic kiss in the forest whilst on a matric high school camp. We've been inseparable since that day!

Bride & Prejudice | Express some memorable experiences you had during the planning.

Ant and I went on our first ski holiday in January 2013. Whilst at the airport, I noticed that Ant was a bit jittery. In particular he seemed very protective over his carry on luggage, which I found quite strange at the time, as I thought it only contained flight socks and ski gloves! On our first night in the beautiful Austrian village of Ellmau, Ant suggested that we wrap up in our warm clothes and venture up one of the beautiful ski slopes with a bottle of champagne. We set off up a snowy slope, and found a spot next to an alpine forest that overlooked the town. We cooled the champagne with the fresh snow that had started to fall and sat listening to music from Ant's cell phone. I noticed that Ant's hands were shaking, and he was drinking a lot of champagne! I assumed this was due to the sub zero temperature. However, it all made sense moments later.. our favorite song started playing, Ant dropped to one knee and then popped the question. And as they say, the rest is history!

Don't Tell The Bride | Reveal something that happened behind the scenes.

Having done ballet my whole life, sports has never been one my strong points. This was strongly evident during the bouquet toss! My first attempt sailed straight past all of the ladies waiting hands, landing straight onto the lap of Ant's cousin Craig, who was also the Pastor. Luckily, the second attempt was more successful.

No More Wedding Woes | Share your wedding advice for future brides.

My main advice to future brides would be to add some 'bridal zen' to the day. For me, this means working with vendors that you trust, and that you feel comfortable with. Clive and Sheri Snyman, from Lightburst photography, are not only exceptionally talented, but they genuinely care about capturing the essence of the day. You can feel their passion and love for what they do, and this is reflected in their beautiful pictures. Also, don't underestimate the importance of good makeup and hair. Melissa Teitge and Monique Pereira worked wonders with their make up brushes, and the very talented hairstylist, Tanya Van Vuuren, perfected the looks. I was fortunate to have Chantal, the owner and designer at Olivelli Houghton help me find my dream wedding dress, which was complimented with the elegant bridesmaids dresses created by Calvin, a designer at Blush weddings. With the backdrop of the Magaliesberg Mountains and its tree top chapel, Red Ivory is a gorgeous, picturesque wedding venue. This beauty was enhanced by the stunning flowers and décor created by Cindy, a remarkably creative and talented floral designer from The Bloom Room. This aesthetic was perfectly captured in the sophisticated stationary created by Eloise from Trendy Settings. The delicious cake created by Sugar 'n Ice did not only look beautiful, but was delicious, there was not one crumb left over! Collectively, this group of highly professional and talented individuals allowed us to relax and enjoy our dream wedding.

Don't sweat the small stuff, the day goes by so quickly, so try and soak up every moment!
