I'm telling you folks I'm absolutely loving International Week - it's so ruddy pretty. Wouldn't you agree?

And the fun doesn't stop here - no siree we're shooting off to Australia this morning to a glorious vineyard and a ceremony held outside underneath a ginormous tree. Actually the aisle is pretty darn gorgeous with huge pails of the organic and blossoming centrepieces - so much so that I'll be pinning it to my ' Aisle Style ' Pinterest board later.

In fact the flowers in general are beautiful all round - just wait until you clap eyes on Steph's bouquet. Exquisite! Oh and the cake? DIVINE.

Steph and Lee also prove to be pretty good at snuggling up in front of the camera too. There are so many delectable pictures of the pair of them together that I found it quite difficult to narrow the selection down for the post. Honestly the things we do for you folks.

Steph The Bride:We knew from the start that we wanted the day to be fun, relaxed and a celebration. It wasn't going to be stuffy or too formal. We were living in Warwickshire in the UK when we were trying to select a venue in Australia, so my parents had the huge task of trying out venues, taking loads of photos and then reporting back to us. We chose Max's at Red Hill Estate because it had the rustic, romantic and intimate feel we wanted.

I had seen my dress online at Collette Dinnigan and I kept going back to it, so I made the trip to London and tried it on. I loved the neckline and the classic lace, so knew it was the one straight away. My veil was made by Karen Hamilton Millinery and she matched the lace to the dress perfectly. I wanted something simple, classic and timeless - I also loved the way it flowed in the wind - of which there was plenty!

The search for the bridesmaid dresses was much harder - we wanted a relaxed and feminine dress - something that didn't look like a bridesmaid dress and the soft lilac maxi's from Ella Sanders (no relation to the groom) were perfect. The little gold detail on the front was just enough to dress it up.

Lee had his suit tailor made by Mark Marengo in Saville Row, his tie was Armani, and pocket square his grandfather Ben's. The groomsmen all wore suits from Next and pocket squares from Rhodes and Beckett.

Our invites and stationery were designed by London based Lucy Clarke from ' Lucy Says I Do '. We had a lot of guests travelling from overseas and interstate, and wanted people to get a taste for the area and give them ideas on things to do while on their holiday. We used the floral graphic and fonts from the invites on all other stationary for the day making everything consistent. Lucy was amazing at translating our ideas into a really unique and beautiful invite package. It really helped set the tone for the whole celebration.

Our brief for the flowers was whimsical, wild and fun. We wanted seasonal flowers and having seen what Petra from Pomp and Splendour had done previously we trusted her. When she showed up with our bouquets I was speechless. So perfect. She also made the cake topper, which tied everything together. The cake was a delicious lemon sponge with lemon curd filling made perfect after two tastings by Melina at Regnier Cakes.

We wanted our ceremony to be short and relaxed, and we wanted to involve everyone. So, we skyped a few different celebrants and when we met Mavis we knew she would be perfect. Originally from Liverpool, Mavis had some fun ideas, and she guided us through the process like a pro. We had the guests perform a ring warming ceremony, starting with Lee's mum the rings were passed around the guests for them to pass their hopes and good wishes for our future and they ended with my mum, Janet who handed them to Lee's best man, Ian.

Lee made all the wooden signs a couple of weeks before the wedding (with a little help from Dima Ellis, a carpenter friend) and I painted them. They were a little lopsided, but in the end it all worked considering the rustic feel of the day. Lee also put together our table plan board - which was made from old house palings.

We had lawn games at the reception, with Pimms and lemonade jars. It was our little piece of the English countryside down under. It was a good way to get all the guests interacting, and made the hour between the ceremony and reception relaxed and fun.
The best part of the day and night was by far the dancing - we managed to get all the formalities out of the way by 9pm meaning we had three solid hours on the dance floor. The band ' The Baker Boys ' were phenomenal and got absolutely everyone dancing. All ages threw shapes, and we could have carried on much longer!

Choosing a photographer was one of the most important decisions for us. With Lee being a photographer himself we knew we had to get it right. Jonathan Ong's style resonated with us and we knew we wanted him before we had even chosen a venue! He did an amazing job of being somewhat invisible, whilst still capturing all the special moments and the photos perfectly reflect what a fun and relaxed day we had!

Our main piece of advice would be to choose suppliers you trust, who understand your ideas, and then let them do their job! We had loads of family events leading up to the big day, so knowing our suppliers knew what they were doing meant we could enjoy the party even more!
