Just how gorgeous is the soft, natural look Ana created for our New Romantic bride? Well, today you can learn to recreate the look yourself in our next Style Guide Tutorial! For weddings with soft romantic creams, blushes and golds this is a dreamy look which will work with your overall palette. If you want a contemporary, classic look that's all about the eyes, then this is the perfect look for you.

Start of by brushing up the brows and applying a soft brow powder through them with a eyebrow brush, to give a discreet shape to the brow. This look does not require bold lines or strong arches just a little more definition and enhancement then a completely naked brow. This is still going to be enough to frame the eye make up and give a more polished finish to your make up application. Apply a little brow gel to hold any strays in shape and give more longevity to the brow colour, think of it as the equivalent to applying hairspray to hold your hair in a required style. Continue with a base which stops your eyeshadows from creasing and provides more durability to your eye make up. This also allows your colours to look truer to what they look like visually in the packaging, 'cos we all hate getting a colour home and realising it looks nothing like it does in the box! Yhis step will also help you with getting a softer shadow on your eyes which is key! I opted for a soft rose gold colour as a base as the sheen it gives looks pretty without a high sparkle which is great in person but also looks amazing on camera. I layered over the rose gold with more of a bronze gold shadow towards the outer corners to give a little dimension to the lid. This technique could also be applied also with darker colours to create a smokey eye, but here I'm keeping it light. I then applied a coat of mascara to darken my models lashes prior to applying false lashes and used a carbon black shadow blended with a small brush at the root of the lashes to create a smoky lash line. If like my model there are a few lashes that are shorter because of the natural growth and lash cycle these use eyelash curlers once false lashes are in place to get them to blend in better together. Once the lashes are in place a light textured yet matte foundation works well to get this almost Period drama type look (think Mr Selfridge!) the softest of bronzers is applied with a soft peach blush over the top. A pretty coral pink lipstick with a slight golden sheen to it is applied to compliment the rest of the make up application. Teamed with this beautifully soft yet intricate up-do, the finishing touch is a statement hair accessory to set everything off beautifully against a simple yet classically elegant dress. So here we have it, a beautifully dreamy, doe-eyed look full of romanticism, complete.

See you soon beauty lovers! Ana x
