Good morning wedding lovers! Do you remember the movie 'The Little Mermaid'? It was one of my absolute favourites growing up, and I'm sure I drove my mum mad with the constant humming of 'Under the Sea' and other Disney tunes! Perhaps this was the start of my dream for a beach wedding, the sand between my toes and of course an exotic, handsome husband to share it with. Well, as the years went by and I found my man, my dreams of the beach changed. There's still times I wistfully dream of a beach wedding and if I did it all again it might well be something like this, filled with forgotten treasures from the sea bed.

The simplicity and rustic nature of this shoot from Carina + David provides the perfect inspiration for a relaxed beach bride. A treasure chest, filled with much loved trinkets, driftwood, a message in a bottle becomes the perfect backdrop to an intimate exchange of vows.

The bride needs nothing more than a simple white sheath dress, bare feet and an elegant sweep of makeup, hair simply blow-dried and left to catch the wind.
