Cute Winter Engagement Shoot in the Snow | Bridal Musings Wedding Blog

Okay, so it might be just the start of the summer in our part of the world.

(Though it's hard to tell as I look out my London window to both, beaming sunshine and torrential rain and wind!)

Either way, it doesn't mean we can't be thinking ahead.

Whether you're heading into a Southern Hemisphere snow season, (hello NZ readers!) or planning a Christmas proposal, (props to you, organised grooms-to-be), this romantic Virginia snow shoot by Clarence Chan Photography, will have you pining for crisp days and warm coats.

Sometimes we get sent shots of real couples where you can literally feel the love popping out of the pictures, Teddy and Tiphanie are one of those couples.

An oh-so-sweet pair who got into the spirit of their engagement shoot, the gorgeous couple are smiling, laughing and joking about, to create a unique engagement session that shows off their playful romance.

We'll hand you over to talented snow snapper, Clarence Chan Photography to tell you a little bit more about this cute shoot.

Many of my clients want to wait till spring for their engagement shoots because winter is just too cold to wear their cute dresses and outfits. They want to take pictures in front of lush scenery with warm tones. However, Teddy and Tiphanie showed that couples can make their engagement shoots just as interesting and beautiful in the dead of winter. With blankets, gloves, boots, and additional props, we ventured out into the cold and took some original and stylish photos. Even though the temperature was below 20 degrees, Teddy and Tiphanie were adventurous and open to doing new things for their shoot, which shone through the pictures. We jumped on cabooses, ran on train tracks, took a "picnic" on a snow-filled field, and sought refuge in a coffee shop. They were the type of couple that inspires photographers to be more creative and remember why we do what we do.

How adorable are this pair? I love how they seem to have just forgotten about the cold and got on with having fun together.

This shows why engagement shoots are such a nice idea, and a great investment; gorgeous informal photographs that they'll have for years to come.

Thanks so much to Clarence Chan Photography, and of course to Tiphanie and Teddy for sharing the too-cute winter engagement shoot.
