Fun fun fun was order of the day for Scott and Katie's relaxed and effortless wedding day.

Scott and Katie tied the knot on the 15 th June 2013 at the gorgeous Huntstile Organic Farm, Somerset. They alongside their family and friends home made much of their rustic and pretty décor. I adore the natural florals, the bohemian ASOS bridesmaid dresses and the fun and games.

Katie looked super beautiful in her Anoushka G wedding dress which she teamed with an Ivory and Co headdress and Rachel Simpson shoes. While Scott looked very dashing in a tweed kilt and peacock feather buttonhole. So much style.

Huge thanks to the wonderful Pete Cranston for sharing his dreamy photographs with us today.

THE PROPOSAL | at a remote cottage in Wales on a cold October Sunday. The ring is a 1920's antique from a jewellers in Oxford

THE VISION | we wanted it to feel relaxed and effortless with everyone just having the chance to feel like they were catching up with old friends, nothing too over the top.

THE PLANNING PROCESS | was very easy, we both knew what we wanted and we had lots of willing volunteers offering their skills to help us.

THE VENUE | Huntstile Organic Farm, Goathurst, Somerset.

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Anoushka G from Clifton Brides, head dress from Ivory and Co, shoes from Rachel Simpson and Tiffany bracelet.

FINDING THE DRESS | I knew that I wanted a vintage feel to the dress, this was only the third dress I tried and the lacy sleeves, neckline and full lace back sold it to me.

GROOM'S ATTIRE | Scott wanted to keep to his roots by wearing kilt but did not want the formality that comes with all the usual attire so mixed it up with a the country style bow tie and waistcoat.

THE READINGS & MUSIC | The readings were The Owl and The Pussy Cat by Edward Lear and Corinthians 13.

To go into the church we had Penguin Café Orchestra - Perpetuum mobile - to leave the church we had The Temper trap - Sweet Disposition . The first dance was The Wannadies - You and Me song.

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | My 3 best friends I grew up with Sian, Kate and Becky all in ASOS dresses.

THE FLOWERS | The Wilde Bunch.

THE CAKE | was a stack of various cheeses.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Pete Cranston.

THE DETAILS & DECOR | Invites were designed and drawn by a friend. The jars and trinkets covered in lace were collected by ourselves at various flea markets. The bunting and table runners were made by my mum using builders sack cloth. The home made gin and rumtoff was a whole family effort, as was the photoboard, place settings, signs and photobooth frame. The menus inside the old books were made by my nan. Scottish tablet was made by the grooms mother.

THE HONEYMOON | was a month long trip around the world visiting L.A, The Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia, Bali and Hong Kong.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | best man forgetting the rings until the hungover guest who had arrived from South Africa checked at the last moment he had them. The advice from the vicar not to compare your wife to a dumper truck and the bridesmaids speech!

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | stick to how you want the day to feel and look and surround yourselves with all those lovely people who have shared many other special moments with you in your life. Drinking gin/cider also always helps!
