In The Pink.

In The Pink.

This afternoon's shoot is unashamedly pink and fluffy. It's light hearted, oh-so pretty and sums up the phrase 'girls just wanna have fun' to perfection.

There's the sweetest pink poodle, endless amounts of pink gift wrapped presents, a giant heart shaped balloon and bucket loads of blooms, with hues ranging from the palest blush to the brightest fuchsia.

And I haven't even mentioned THAT dessert table yet, swelling under the weight of the most delicious looking goodies imaginable.

It really is like a birthday party from your childhood dreams...from the time when your favourite colour was unquestionably pink and you always wanted to wear your best frock, whatever the occasion.

Hmmmm, as far as team RMW is concerned, not much has changed...

Jodie from Boutique Blooms:Our perfectly pink wedding was inspired by Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffanys' glamorous style and eccentric character. Pastel pinks and grey with pops of bubble gum pink and pinstripe details. Hearts, hearts and more hearts with a pink poodle for good measure!

Our Audrey-esque model struck many a pose in the gorgeous setting of Nonsuch Mansion. An oversized tower of gifts wrapped in vibrant pink papers, giant heart shaped balloons and delightful pom pom poodles were one of many highlights that captured the fun and flirty theme. Not to mention the real pink pooch who stole the show.

With grand floral displays and bouquets of luxurious pink roses these injected the romance and glamour of the day. Striped heart table place settings set against vibrant cerise linen, white glassware, glittered pink champagne favours and a giant floral heart decorated the wedding breakfast table. Whilst heart shaped macaroon 'posh pops', a wedding cake dressed elaborately with fresh blooms, powder pink marshmallows and coconut ice adorned the dessert table.

Stunning stationery with stripe and bow motifs gave a sophisticated polish to the day, including a gorgeous seating plan displayed in an elaborate fresh flower frame. The grounds featured large heart shaped topiary dressed with roses. More fresh blooms and stationary decorated the classic Volkswagen VW wedding Beetle car 'Polly Pootle' that was piled high with gifts whilst bride and poodle went for a ride.

We had three looks for our model each with a co-ordinating pink pout. A 50's style dress with a statement up-do with a beautiful bow and striking eye makeup. A delicate soft shell pink gown with feminine half up, half down hair style. The final look was simple gown with a nod to the 50s style fastened with a black belt, the hair in a high pony tail with subtle streaks of cerise pink hair with matching pink shoes. All the dresses were provided by Morgan Davies Bridal.
