Alisa and Dylan's Modern Farm Wedding - Polka Dot Bride

Alisa and Dylan went for somewhat of a modern take when they decided to marry on a farm. Industrial style chairs and succulents graced the reception, mint green and sparkly dresses were worn by the bridesmaids and the couple even made paper planes for guests to throw instead of confetti. Each moment captured beautifully by Jason Tey Photography.

Alisa tells their story. "I was good friends with Dylan's brother through church and he invited Dylan to an Australia Day party at my house which is where we first met officially."

Alisa chose a gown from A Bridal Affair, her bridesmaids in soft, floor length gowns from Forever New .

The groom and groomsmen wore bowties made by the bride.

Alisa walked down the aisle to "God Is Able" by Hillsong.

Alisa and Dylan chose Chapel Farm for their wedding, Alisa noting, "We had both our ceremony and reception at Chapel Farm. The ceremony was in their sunken garden, under some big trees, and the reception was under their big gazebo which was amazing as it let you enjoy the warm, summer night air."

The groom made paper planes for guests to use in place of confetti.

Guests enjoyed icy cold sweet treats from La Paleta after the ceremony.

Alisa remarks, "Going to Bells Rapids with the bridal party for our photos was so much fun."

Of their photographer, Alisa says, "Jason is a great, easy-going guy. I love how excited he gets about weddings and how he can read a couple's tastes so well."

Each guest received a potted succulent as a favour.

Guests were directed to their seats with a homemade stand that held their names, each name was replaced with a Polaroid photo taken on the night.

Alisa and Dylan chose "Bloom" by the Paper Kites for their first dance.

Congratulations Alisa and Dylan! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you also to Jason Tey Photography for sharing today's wedding!
