Back in February I spoke about our plans for the garden, so I thought today I'd revisit our outdoor space and share with you what we have achieved.

We have discovered that we have some wonderful established plants already, with bulbs, poppies, roses, lily of the valley and wild sweet peas having bloomed to name a few. The fence dividing the garden was removed, the soil pile has gone and A got a playhouse.

We got our raised beds for our vegetable patch complete, we have runner beans, carrots, spring onions, tomatoes and potatoes all sprouting. Our lettuces never appeared and I don't think the tomatoes are going to be successful, but it's our first attempt so we are being patient :-)

The seeds I planted for the grow your own wedding flowers series has been hit and miss, I will be posting an update on the project soon with some pretty DIY tutorials. Plus you can see a sneak peek of our almost finished kitchen renovation. YAY.

So there we have our garden in bloom in July :-)

We have so loved having our own outdoor space this summer, it's been amazing and A has loved playing outside. We have yet to have a proper gathering, but I am hoping we manage to hold at least one before the summer is out. We still have some projects we'd like to tackle in the garden, but they shall have to wait until next year now.
