Texas Warehouse Wedding: Emily + Matt

Texas Warehouse Wedding: Emily + Matt

Think that a wedding can't incorporate red, white, and blue without looking patriotic? Trust us, your feelings are about to change! Emily + Matt's Georgetown, Texas , we were definitely thinking more along the lines of colorful, elegant dinner party rather than Fourth of July BBQ! We also just might have collectively gasped (out loud) when we saw those amazing bouquets + arrangements, and the rest of the styling, by warehouse wedding is pretty much as lovely as it gets, and as we poured through these gorgeous photos by Loft PhotographieWithout Wax, Katy. So darn good. Since Emily describes the inspiration behind the whole day best, we'll let her go ahead and take it from here:

Something that was really important for us is for the ceremony and reception to represent both of us. We wanted everything to be very personal. We decided to incorporate Matt's love for cars into the reception using vintage oil cans and the cake stand had license plates around the base painted red. Our venue was at one time a car shop, which made even the building seem more meaningful to us. It was important for me to have my sister draw portraits of the wedding party in the programs. We also made a custom crossword for our friends to do as they waited for the ceremony to begin. Everything turned out perfectly.

That's a bouquet worthy of a close up, yes? It's filled with peonies, red garden roses, clematis, hyacinth, fritillaria + touches of greenery.

We adore the vibrant place settings + warm feel of the reception space.

Now that's a cake! And we think every cake would look a bit more festive once decorated with a bunch of hot pink blooms!

And the groom's cake was perfect for Matt + his love of cars!
