Ahhh, the makeup aisle. For most of us girls, this little corner in the universe holds our hopes and dreams for a prettier future. Whether it's what lipstick is going to make Mr. Right melt on date night or deciding if a certain eye shadow is going to complement your skin tone, there are countless thoughts and considerations that take place as we peruse the cosmetics shelves. We decided to narrow these thoughts down and list the top 10 things that go through our minds as we walk down the aisle.

1: "I know I already have 19 five red lipsticks, but this one is way different!"

2: "Will this make me look like my mother?"

3: "So this is what heaven is like."

4: "What was my life like before dry shampoo?"

5: "Would Beyonce wear this lipstick?"

6: "OK, I am not allowed to buy more than three things - OK, maybe five."

7: "But these are buy-one-get-one-50-percent-off ... so I have to get six. It's a better deal."

7.5: "Figuring out the right foundation for my skin tone is about as complicated as figuring out a Rubik's Cube."

8: "Why can't bathing suit shopping be this much fun?"

9: "But this orange nail polish would look so much better with my new sandals."

10: "Oh no! They're out of my favorite blush shade! If it's been discontinued, my cheeks (and life) will never be the same!"
