Summertime is so rich in different sorts of fruit. We usually make a 2 day supply not to go to the shop every day. We keep them in our String Bowl on the counter, we don't like cold fruit that's why we don't put it into the fridge. I know this way we get ourselves in a bind, as the kitchen is teeming with swarms of little fruit flies which seem to appear out of nowhere!

My extent search for the way out of this trouble led me to Anti-Fruit Flies Solution by Holly of Spend With Pennies. It turned out that these bastards like the smell of apple cider so by pouring it into a cup and preparing a cone entrance you lead them straight to the trap. Voila!
