Genesis Images is sharing a stunning farm wedding all the way from Burgersdorp. Jaco and Jeanne recently got married on Jaco's family farm outside of Burgersdorp and Genesis Images captured their day. I Propose | Elaborate on how the two of you met.

We are both avid tennis players. I (Jeanne) needed a partner for a tennis tournament in East London. I'd asked a mutual friend whether he could partner up with me but unfortunately he'd already been entered with someone else. I then asked whether he knew of anyone else I could play with and he recommended I enter with Jaco. We'd never met one another before... There was an instant mutual attraction on the courts, and shortly afterwards be began dating. It was a perfect fit, partners on and off the courts...

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down.

I was working in Cape Town, and drove up to Burgersdorp to visit Jaco over a long weekend. We hadn't seen one another in over a month. I'd always wanted to hike up one of the hills (Spioenkop) on his farm but we'd not had a chance before. He then suggested on the Sunday that we go for a hike and off we went with all our dogs in tow. At the top we walked around enjoying the gorgeous view over the entire farm when he got down on one knee and proposed. Of course I said YES!!! After the rush of excitement we sat on the cliffs and celebrated with champagne which he'd secretly packed for the hike!

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day.

Weddings have always been extremely romantic to me... the sharing of vows and promises of love always had me in tears. I've never felt as happy as when I was walking down the aisle, hooked into my fathers' arm, with the man I love waiting for me at the end. The ceremony was amazing and I would relive our vows over and over again if I could. Just felt so much love and joy from everyone around, and knowing I had the most wonderful person whom I was to spend the rest of my life with just flooded me with joy and a sense of peace.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides.

Your wedding day is over so quickly. Enjoy the planning and the events leading up to the wedding. Don't wish it by too quickly and don't sweat the small stuff. People don't notice the little things missing - only you do. We held our wedding on the farm, so had to do absolutely everything ourselves. Looking back I'd try to switch off a little sooner, and just start enjoying being a bride. But most importantly, ENJOY the wedding. Too many brides worry whether their guests are having fun. If you're having fun, your guests will do so too.
