Happy Wednesday everyone! We're celebrating a happy occassion today here at Wedding Sparrow HQ as it's editor Sara's birthday today so stop by later on for a special personal post from her. In the meantime, we have a perfectly beautiful bridal session from Greer Gattuso Photography that will blow you away. We're in love with the Hedi Elnora gown full of pearls on the bodice!

From the bride, Jenna: "The reason I chose the location for my bridal session is simple. It is just a stunningly beautiful place. Since my dress had more of an elegant feel I wanted to chose a contrasting location. With its huge oak trees and beautiful gardens, Longue Vue was the perfect location to shoot at. I wanted the background of my pictures to almost fade away and for my dress to be the main focus. The minute I saw my dress I feel in love. It really picked me. I always pictured myself in something lace and slinky but when I put this dress on I just knew. The details on the top are just jaw dropping. No one top to this particular dress is alike because they are handsewn and I feel like that makes it even more special because no one will ever have the same dress as me."

About the location: The home and gardens were born of the dreams of Edgar and Edith Stern, pillars of the New Orleans community. It was the combination of the Sterns working with landscape architect Ellen Biddle Shipman (1866-1950) and architects William (1897-1984) and Geoffrey (1909-1985) Platt that resulted this wonderful oasis of beauty and elegance set in charming New Orleans. The Longue Vue House is one of the last great houses to be custom-built in America during the Country Place Era, taking the Platt brothers three years (1939-1942) to build. Shipman designed gardens for the estate beginning in 1935 until her death. Vendor details
