Now this folks, this is how you do a marquee-in-the-garden wedding. Laura and Will have, in my humble opinion, only gone and nailed the most perfect laidback garden wedding. There are lots of signs for cocktails (at last someone who loves the beverage as much as I do!), supersized balloons waving gaily from wooden fences, some epic 'dance floor rules' (lunges anyone?!), happy maids clutching white bouquets and one of the prettiest table plans I ever did see.

But perhaps my favourite part of the wedding, apart from the Choos and of course the loving is the table decor and marquee styling. It's fresh, it's green and by heck I've never seen anything like it before. There are ditsy, floral, mossy green napkins, cratefuls of blooms, oodles of sweet peas, blowsy hydrangeas and actual trees dispersed along the tables. It looks so modern yet so pretty at the same time and I adore it.

Laura The Bride: Will and I got married at my parents' home in Berkshire. I've worked in events for the last eight years and didn't want to get married in a hotel or venue where you may face possible restrictions. We are extremely lucky as my parents have an acre of land at the back of their house which is perfect for a marquee wedding. We just had to hope for good weather! We chose Pearl Tent Marquees because we liked the visual design of the marquee.

My wedding dress was the first dress I tried on. I had researched lots online but really liked the dresses from Stephanie Allin. A good friend of mine had brought a Stephanie Allin dress and I thought it was so elegant. I made an appointment at their boutique on Chiltern Street in London. When I tried on the dress Lilly, I loved it.

The bridesmaid dresses came from Coast. Coast has such a good range and luckily all the bridesmaids agreed they loved the same dress. My shoes were silver Jimmy Choo wedges, which I love to this day! I thought wedges in a field would be better than stilettos!

For my something old I wore my Grandad's signet ring, new were some beautiful sapphire earrings from my dad who lives in Sri Lanka and the borrowed and blue were ticked off by a garter from one of my bridesmaids.

The Groom and ushers wore lovely navy blue suits and all wore their own, as it was important to Will that his ushers wore suits they were comfortable in and fit well. Will had a present from me of some lovely sterling silver engraved cuff links.

On the day, my hairdresser Jodie who has cut and coloured my hair for the last 10 years came and styled the bridal party. We also had the lovely Lauren Christy who did our make up and made us feel beautiful!

Colour scheme wise, we very much wanted to keep it simple, and to mirror the surroundings of the garden. All the flowers were white or green. We picked a complete variety of flowers thanks to seventh heavens guidance. On the tables we had hydrangeas, stocks, phloxes, sweet William, guelda rose and shamrocks.

My great friend Liz Robinson from Pinewood Nurseries helped with planting a selection of wild flowers in vintage wine crates which we used around the reception for decoration creating a stunning rural backdrop.

The flowers in the church, the tables, the bridal bouquets and grooms buttonholes were beautifully delivered by Seventh Heaven events. Lucy, Linda and Steffi were incredible and extremely helpful on day and made the tables look beautiful.

Within the marquee we positioned trees between tables to add to the garden scene. We wrapped fairy lights around the trees to help give it a magician feel at night. We also sourced white chairs and white wooden rustic tables therefore avoiding having to have linen on them. We opted for a white square top table.

The ceremony was held at St Michael's church in Bray. We sung three hymns that were favourites from our school years, Lord of the Dance, Jerusalem and I vow to thee my country. My close friend Wendy read a poem called The One and Will's father read an extract from Corinthians.

We had a fantastic magician called Matt Stirling. Damien Flood and his band had us partying until the early hours. Damien's voice is incredible and I can't recommend enough! We also booked a confetti machine for a surprise during the first dance. Damien and his band sang Hey Ho by The Lumineers which was incredible with the confetti machine going off. We also had a photo booth which was used during the evenings festivities.

We were blown away by our caterers. We booked Caper and Berry and Mark who was our main point of contact was extremely professional, the service and the food was exceptional.

Will's mum is a fantastic cake maker and made our cake. It was lovely to have something that was made by her and we also had Will's grandad's naval ceremonial sword to cut the cake with. It is a family tradition to use it and meant a lot. A friend also made some scrummy cake pops which were delicious!

The photographer Dominique Bader, well I don't know where to start. When I was researching online for photographers, it was her website that initially captured me and made me check availability. Her photos were utterly beautiful and the photos taken at our wedding are no exception. They are beautiful and you just want to keep looking at them. She makes you feel utterly at ease and for someone who hates having her photo taken, it proved to be a lot of fun on the day itself.

We had a videographer, Reel Love Films. Frances and Katherine were lovely and a real pleasure to be around. I was a little nervous about being captured on film but you didn'tknow they were there!

Other than the plants and flowers, all the DIY bits and personal touches were made by Will, our family and me. We decided we wanted to make as many aspects as we possibly could ourselves.

I spent a lot of time on wedding blogs and websites like Etsy and RMW searching for inspiration. My family and Will's family were incredible and many weekends were spent making home made pom poms (to hang in the trees), painting wooden signs, making light letters or going to B&Q to buy our own trellis and paint it white!

We made our own vases for the flowers to be placed in on the tables. We made a 'home for hats' area, unique table plan from a bedstead and we had an old fashioned drinks table as Will is very fond of whisky! We also made personalised place settings using paper doilies which were ink stamped with guest names.

My sister lives in Hong Kong and she spent many weeks sourcing paper sun parasols, lanterns, beautiful lace ribbon, personalised wood blocks and little decorations found at the markets. They were all amazing. All these little touches really made it special and what is great is that we got to keep of all of them and they are decorating our new home! All in all we had the perfect wedding and a spectacular day!
