We love the story of The Secret Garden and grew up reading the book so when Anna Peters Photography sent us her latest work with Alisa Lewis Event Design FULL with Secret Garden inspiration we were blown away. Endless amounts of detail and ideas for brides from florals by Garden of Eden Floral Design to callligraphy by Bridget Smith, this wedding inspiration is epic on every level.

From Anna Peters: "Our inspiration for this shoot drew from the magic feel of the garden tucked away behind stone walls in Francis Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden. Walking into the courtyard of the Bozarth Mansion, you are instantly transported into a vision of intimate, old world elegance that fit this vision perfectly. Drawing from a color palette of berry tones paired with a gorgeous faded indigo blue ribbon from Silk and Willow, Alisa Lewis and her wonderful team created this romantic garden wedding inspiration filled with hand-crafted touches. We paired a vintage-inspired Rue de Seine gown with romantic side-swept hair and a fresh coral lip to create a unique bridal look that was accented by the bespoke accessories from Emici Livet. The richly gathered floral arrangements from Garden of Eden added a touch of wild elegance reminiscent of the garden in the novel and hand lettered paper goods and the gold chalkboard designed by Bridget Smith contributed glimmers of gold."
