Winter is one of my favourite times of the year and this beautiful rustic Winter orchard wedding inspiration shoot from Alanna Garner at Earthbound Images certainly got me excited for next Winter and we've only just entered Spring!

Alanna teamed up with stylists Turtle and The Pelican , florist Floral Army and hair and makeup artist Glammazon Hair & Makeup at the gorgeous apple orchard Core Cider House to create an Australian rustic glam shoot. Alanna noting, "I was inspired to put together my first styled shoot when I met Emma from Turtle & the Pelican when we worked on a wedding together in March. We clicked instantly and I knew I wanted to collaborate with her in some way again. I was in awe of all the beautiful pieces she has in her hire collection, a styled shoot seemed to be the perfect fit and a good excuse to work together again."

"Emma at Turtle and The Pelican started off our rustic Australian concept with wooden textures and feature pieces including timber bistro chairs, raw wooden stumps and the striking timber arbor, which is made from a fallen Western Australian Wheatbelt Gimlet tree. She added a kick of glam with a super sparkly signing table and gold vases."

" The vintage white peacock chair was easily our model's favourite piece and I felt so lucky to be able to shoot with the chair as it is a beautiful new addition to Turtle and The Pelican 's hire collection."

Alanna and team chose a working orchard for their shoot, noting, " Core Cider House in Pickering Book offered the perfect location for our styled shoot, with amazing views of their orchard - it made us all want to stay there forever, not to mention their cider tastes pretty good too. Sally Apple Schnauzers normal job at the Core is to greet visitors and keep children entertained but today she enjoyed her day off by running around the orchard lapping up the warm winter sun and joining us for a photo or two."

The ceremony set up was designed with raw timber chairs and logs from Turtle and The Pelican together with bunches of Australian natives styled by Floral Army. Alanna remarks "We used lots of raw timber pieces the gave us that rustic and natural look that I am in love with and with lots of splashes of gold and an amazing lace gown to give it the glam edge. Our outdoor winter orchard location gave us a rustic setting amongst the lush green grass and pops of yellow and red in the leaves of the fruit trees."

"The lace dress was provided by Raffinato Bridal a relatively new bridal shop in Leederville, Western Australia. This 'Sancia' lace dress in ivory is part of their new 2014 collection and it fitted our model perfectly."

"The girls at Floral Army came in and worked their floristry magic. With lots of native Australian blooms and stacks of greenery to boot they transformed our ceremony set up in the rustic wonderland that you see now."

" These cute wooden earrings and cufflinks were by local artist One Happy Leaf, I'm obsessed with wooden jewelry right now and I really want to buy every single item this awesome lady creates."

" Glammazon Hair & Makeup created a beautiful soft curled hairstyle to accommodate the greenery and flowers for the models hair, and did a flawless job on her makeup, the vibrant red lipstick really popped with the red in the flowers."

The "bride" kept warm with a feather jacket from Mode & Affaire. Alanna noting, " When the sun went behind the hills and the cold started the creep in out came a beautiful white feather jacket provided by Mode & Affaire, the perfect winter bridal accessory."
