Everything screams for autumn: the colors, the smell, the pumpkin baking. I've already started gathering autumn harvest for different projects with my kids. My first autumn project was Pine Cone Embellished Jars. But we've also found a full basket of chestnuts, and another one is brimful of acorns and now the leaves collecting season begins...So must the ideas bank expand.

I truly adore natural decorations, but this time my attention was drawn by a Fall Wreath by Pam, of House of Hawthornes. She made this door ornament using artificial leaves and imitations of fall fruit, but the result she got is dazzling. The vivid yellow and orange perfectly emphasize the mood of the season.
