Bourbon Cocktails for Fall

Hooray! Break out the bourbon because autumn is here! Clearly, we're a little partial to both the fall season and whiskey. We've rounded up some warm-you-up beverages, just in time for your cool weather wedding. Want to try one of these bad boys for yourself? Above, your chai tea latte ain't got nothin' on this concoction of bourbon, chai, almond milk, and chocolate syrup. Yum! Sounds like the perfect beverage for a late night envelope stuffing party with your ladies.

Are apples your very favorite part of fall? We totally understand. Which is why we think you are going to love this herbal combo of thyme, apple cider, and brandy (below, left). And yes, you can heat it up for the coldest of nights. If you love mojitos, you are going to adore this new take on a classic. Instead of rum, this one is made with bourbon. It's super refreshing, especially after you need a break from dancing at the reception.

And speaking of dancing the night away, nothing will put a skip in your step the next morning like this Maker's Mark "Caesar"-a Bloody Mary made with bourbon (below).

Is your fall wedding a little bit Mad Men-inspired? Then nothing but cocktails served straight up will do. The Boulevardier (below, left) is for those who like their cocktails not-too sweet, and the Basilisk (below, right) is ideal for those who enjoy herbal-flavored drinks.

One autumnal flavor that is often overlooked in today's pumpkin spice obsessed world is maple. Below, this drink combines lemon-lime flavors with a kick of maple syrup to sweeten up the bourbon. It sounds a little strange...until you try it.

Especially in early fall, it's nice to incorporate the last fruit of summer into your bourbon cocktail. And no combo is quite as tasty as bourbon and peach. The Peach 8 (above) mixes peach iced tea with bourbon and a shrub. The pale pink Bourbon Peach Smash (below, right) also adds ginger ale and mint into the mix (this drink should be required at every bridal shower). If you prefer berries, this spiked blackberry lemonade (below, left) will be right up your alley!
