Good afternoon my lovelies! How much did you love our lifestyle editorial The Romance of Fall earlier this week? I promised our editorials would be inspirational and achievable, and I never break a promise. So today lovely Liz of Bluesky Flowers joins us to share her romantic fall centrepiece tutorial that is easy to recreate at home ready for your weekend dinner party!

YOU WILL NEED:

  • A suitable medium sized planter/vase with filled with wet oasis block
  • 5 quicksand Roses
  • 5 white Astilbe
  • 5 Lilac
  • 2 stems ocean Mikado spray roses
  • 2 stems white Snowberry
  • 5-7 stems Queen Anne's lace
  • 5 stems Cotinus
  • Bunch autumnal eucalyptus

HOW TO:

  • Fill the planter/vase with the oasis block ensuring that some of the block is above the rim
  • Start with the eucalyptus, filling the space and set your final height and width with the length of stems you use
  • Add in cotinus and astilbe on the same basis
  • Place the queen Anne's lace to get extra height and movement, keeping the stems longer and looser
  • Place the key flowers - roses, spray roses, snowberry and lilac to add interest all around, make sure they are at different heights/lengths
  • Fill in more foliage if necessary
