I've noticed that making rustic Christmas tree ornaments is very trendy again. It's a great news because I have a fondness for all traditional, handmade decorations. Some time ago I showed you a Rustic Snowflake. I'm sure that these snowflakes will present stunningly on the Christmas tree next to Cinnamon Hearts.

'Katy Elliott' runs a great blog about renovating and decorating her old house. Additionally she shows great tutorials for handmade decorations and great recipes. This project is great to complete with kiddos, but remember these ornaments are inedible! Cinnamon dough is more similar to salt dough than the cake.

I'm curious which shape of cookies cutters you will choose? Hearts are my favorite but considering make little stars too. How about you?
