It was a summer camp in Huntsville, Ontario that brought Lauren Michaels and Ryan Cohen together. "We started dating at 15 and have been together ever since!" Lauren explains.

As a PR manager at NKPR, Lauren has organized and attended her fair share of parties. Naturally, when the time came to host her own wedding, she knew exactly what she wanted and how to plan it. Inspired by French romance, Lauren and Ryan incorporated a dreamy palette of gold, cream and blush into their wedding day. "The reception had an eclectic, romantic feel with lots of candles everywhere as well as varying floral arrangements in vintage-styled vases," Lauren describes. "We created a fairytale atmosphere by draping tiny strands of lights around our chuppah and behind the table."

Walking down the aisle to "Tuolumne" by Eddie Vedder (from the soundtrack of Into the Wild-Ryan's favourite movie), Lauren wore a stunning strapless Danielle Caprese gown from Kleinfeld. "I purchased the dress unexpectedly on a trip to New York with my mom," Lauren shares. "We went for the 'Kleinfeld' experience (both being huge fans of the show Say Yes To The Dress) and found ourselves walking out with a dress. It is the perfect shade of blush/champagne-I instantly fell in love."

A gourmet sit-down dinner at the Ritz-Carlton was followed by a deliciously stocked candy bar and entertaining band. "We absolutely loved them" Lauren exclaims. "They were incredible and kept us on our feet until 2 a.m. They event brought my brother on stage to perform with them, which was an amazing moment."
