Woman Gets Pulled Over By Cops For Most Romantic Reason Yet

Getting pulled over by the cops isn't typically a good thing -- unless, of course, your boyfriend happens to be a police officer with a romantic plot up his sleeve.

That was the case for Sara Wolff, a woman in Galveston, Texas, who was recently pulled over by a different police officer as part of an elaborate proposal.

The officer told Wolff she had a broken tail light and outstanding warrants, according to KHOU-TV. Confused and worried, she stepped out of the car, unsure of what was going to happen next. Little did Wolff know that her boyfriend, Gregory Parris, was watching the scene unfold from his squad car. When the time was right, he drove over to his beloved and got down on one knee.

"I can't imagine being proposed to any better than that. It was perfect for us," Wolff (who said yes!) told KHOU-TV.

The Galveston Police Department even shared the news report on its Facebook page.

This isn't the first time that a traffic stop proposal has made headlines. Last January, WMUR-TV reported that police officers in New Hampshire had helped a man named Matt Van Vliet propose to his girlfriend, Samantha Labo, by organizing a fake traffic stop. Police officers had pulled Van Vliet and his girlfriend over, and during the encounter with the cops, Van Vliet asked Labo to marry him.

"I went from being the most terrified I've ever been to probably the most ecstatic," Labo told the news outlet.
