Annabelle and David met ten years ago at a pub Annabelle worked in. "I was finishing my degree in photography in Montreal, and bartending at an Irish pub and David was an Irish guy visiting for a few months from Ireland. Through mutual friends we ended up having breakfast together every weekend and that's where it all started," says Annabelle.

The couple's wedding turned into a weekend-long event due to so many of their guests being from out of town. "The Grand Lodge had the capacity to have a BBQ and bonfire the night before at a barn beside the hotel," Annabelle explains. "Having our guests all under one roof for two days allowed us to visit with everyone without the pressure of a few hour time crunch," she adds.

Annabelle says she'll never forget the moment she walked down the aisle. "The look on Dave's and everyone else's faces as I walked down the aisle was a highlight for sure, it was a real moment of L-O-V-E," she remembers. The reception was also a huge hit with the festivities lasting until 4am. "People still come to me telling me it was the best party they'd ever been too," laughs the bride.
