Entitled "Everybody is a Star," Reem Acra's 2016 Spring collection set out to highlight the innate radiant beauty of every bride. Boasting classic silhouettes and clean, intricate designs, the collection exuded looks that were both timeless and fresh. While a handful of skirts and bottoms donned minimalistic designs, the real drama was in the gowns' exquisite illusion necklines, overlay embroidery and embellished bodices. Luminescent silk and ethereal tulle skirts contrasted beautifully with Acra's elaborately-designed bodices, adding to the collection's celestial and sensual feel. Lace - the popular fabric of the season - also played a pivotal role throughout Acra's designs, with several gowns boasting the delicate fabric, including a daring, chic, lace fitted dress with a peek-a-boo midriff. Sparkling, cascading appliques injected a hint of glam throughout the collection, which featured exquisitely on a cream re-embroidered gown with metallic lace long sleeves and circular tulle underlay. Other show-stopping looks included a stunning, minimal silk crêpe gown complete with a plunging neckline and gazar layered skirt as well as a gorgeous V-neck voluminous silk ball gown with cap sleeves and a gleaming embroidered illusion bodice for an added regal touch.
