Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

We were both coincidentally invited by the same group of common friends for a
vacation.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

We went for a picnic at a beautiful setting on our family farm, overlooking the farm with
the most amazing view. It had been cloudy and rainy for the entire week and when the
sun finally came out it turned out to be an amazing sight. He set a camera on timer and
we posed for a few pictures. When we posed for another I just felt him go down andwhen I turned he was on his knee, holding the ring I had always dreamed of in his hand.
I said yes, and we got a picture of the moment in the process. It was perfect.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Every moment of our wedding day was extremely special and memorable which makes
it hard to choose the most memorable moment, so I will choose three.
The first is driving towards the house where I grew up in (the venue for our wedding),
with my dad in the driver's seat, just talking with my dad and enjoying every moment of
it.

The second is walking down the aisle towards the love of my life and seeing the look on
his face when he saw me for the first time. My dad had to slow me down to enjoy the
moment.

The third is when we exchanged rings and my husband surprised me with a wedding
band that I always wanted with my engagement ring. It was his gift to me on the day.

Amazing ceremony under the trees, an angel of a man marrying us, perfect weather,
pastel coloured and farm style decor, simple farm wedding with the most talented
photographers and videographer and the whole wedding planned and directed by my
amazing mother.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides

Firstly it is very beneficial to involve your mother and allow her to help. Your mom
knows you better than you know yourself and knows what will be best for you. It is a
very special time for a mother and her daughter to be able to fit the dress together as well
as planning the big day. Also try to get your future mother in law involved as it is special
to have them involved and share the excitement with her. It was very special to have all
four parents working on our special day the whole week before our wedding day.
Choose your bridesmaids and groomsmen well as they have a very important role to
play.

DIY decor makes the decor very special and captures your personality in your big day.
This also helps to save money. Besides that, it is fun to make and unique designs.
Lastly, our master of ceremonies almost had people falling off their chairs with laughter.
Choose carefully when choosing your master of ceremonies. I suggest someone who
knows the bride and groom well, preferably a life long friend who can make people
laugh.
