Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

We met at a small audit firm. The first time our eyes met we knew that this was a start of something special. Needless to say, it was love at first sight! After a short period at the firm Michelle decided to pursue a different career path and on departure our love story started. We were inseparable ever since.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

We decided to spoil ourselves with a much needed break away to the bushveld. After a relaxing day at the spa, learning about and riding elephants the day drew to a close. It was an almost cloudless evening, we went up to a viewing deck to view the beauty of the skies. Stephen held me close and started talking about how much I meant to him, the next moment he was on one knee, stating my full name, asking me to marry him... I was absolutely thrilled and started jumping up and down, not sure if I should laugh or cry... It was a very exhilarated yes!

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Everything on the day was amazingly special but two moments were extremely special. The moment my father and I walked into the chapel, it was a very teary and emotional walk charged with adrenaline and absolute joy. The second moment was when Stephen and I walked into the hall, I still get goose bumps when I think about it. The skies had just opened to bless our wedding day! Ben Haenow's Something I need was playing, our guests gave us an amazing welcome clapping to the chorus and cheering, we felt the unity between a husband and his wife in the purest form, a bond that will last forever. For a split second, the world was at peace...
