The beautiful Yandina Station set the scene for Bec and Brian's country elegance wedding. The newlyweds wanted a wedding with a relaxed and fun atmosphere, a wedding that allowed them to share their love of the nearby beach location with their love of the country. They chose Alan Hughes Photography to capture their day.

Bec tells the story of how they came to be. "We met at a mutual friends 21st. I was not interested in Brian at first I found him to be quite the pest constantly coming over and pottering in on our conversations, then I had to leave the party early and a friend unknowingly passed on my number to Brian. He called the following day and we went out. It was here that I learnt that Brian was actually a very kind, genuine, down to earth person and that's what made me fall in love with him."

Regal Hair Designs, TF Make-up Artistry and RKF Hair & Make-up styled the bride and bridesmaid's hair and makeup for the day.

Willowbud Flowers created floral arrangements in tones of pink, purple, and white.

Bec's wedding gown was from Allure Bridals, she tells, "I chose an Allure gown in a champagne ivory colour which had a lace bodice and ruffle skirt with a crystal and pearl embellishment to the side of the waist. The experience was very easy and fulfilling, I knew as soon as I tried the dress on it was the one, it was super comfortable and I knew it would match with theme being quite textured but still flowing."

The groom and groomsmen wore suits from Roger David.

Bec and Brian chose Yandina Station for their wedding, noting, "We had our ceremony, canapés and reception all at Yandina Station. Yandina Station is still a full functioning cattle station as well as an immaculately landscaped function venue. We chose Yandina Station as it has so much character about it, but was still absolutely stunning to look at and with it being so closely located to the beach but still felt like you were in the country it was the perfect location for us sharing the common interest of the beach and countryside.

We had our ceremony under the beautiful big fig tree, followed by canapés and games on the homestead lawn and the reception in the dairy pavilion."

Bec arrived to the wedding on a very special surprise, she tells, "Being the crazy animal lover that I am and having made the decision to leave our dogs at home Brain wanted to incorporate some kind animal into our wedding and surprised me with a horse drawn carriage from Sunshine Carriages. THE BEST SURPRISE EVER!"

Bec chose Bryan Adams - I'll Always Be Right There for her walk down the aisle.

Jay Flood Noosa Style Ceremonies officiated the ceremony, Bec telling, "We had a civil ceremony, we wanted it to be short and not to drag out but still showing our full commitment and love to each other. We had one reading True Love- Unknown Author which we felt resonated the best with us."

Guests enjoyed canapes, champagne and lawn games while the newlyweds had their photos taken.

Bec's bridesmaids wore lilac floor length gowns from For Her and For Him.

Of their photographer, Bec remembers, "Alan was very easy going with great attention to detail. His calm and assertive way was very welcomed to keeping us on track."

Bec remembers, "We had doilies made by a family friend to have wrapped around our invitations and to make doily bunting. Brian made some wooden crates which featured on our dessert table and our seating board frame which I stained and we also cut up some tree branches from our friend's property and put slits in the top to place the name cards in."

Love Bird Weddings styled the wedding, the bride remarking, "I was very happy with all of our vendors, they all went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and wants. All of it was so much fun to plan, I'm glad I had great support to bounce my ideas off. "

"There was one thing that was for sure, if we could not get our fur babies to our special day we would have them on display somewhere. My sister in law for the Christmas had given me rustic picture frame with four hanging hearts in it which was the perfect thing to feature our babies in, this was placed on our wishing well table with our guest book."

Of the first dance, Bec remembers, "We had cover song by Lennon and Maisy of Jason Mraz's I Wont Give Up. Our dance was slow and intimate, the perfect chance for us to reflect on how perfect our day has been and enjoy being husband and wife."

After a feast served up by The Rolling Dolmade, a gelato bar kick started the dance floor with ice cream!

Congratulations Bec and Brian! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you also to Alan Hughes Photography for sharing today's wedding with us!
