Family and friends of Rivers Fischer and Barrett Nesler experienced something new on October 11, 2014. Rivers and Barrett had a "Gap" wedding. What's a Gap Wedding you ask. You have the ceremony at one time of the day, then there's a gap for everyone to rest, play or explore, with the reception ending later that day or night. This Mississippi bride knew exactly what she wanted for her Mississippi wedding and in charming Oxford, MS!

Rivers and Barrett had a morning ceremony followed by brunch at The Mill at Plein Aire in Taylor, MS just outside of Oxford, MS.

Guests then had the afternoon to explore Oxford. Everyone returned that night for a fun reception, "a party with an open bar and an awesome band", according to Rivers.
