It doesn't get much prettier than this folks. Nikki and Andy's delightful summer nuptials will be sure to leave with so many ideas today and a great big smile too.

They chose to tie the knot beneath the willow arbour at Burnicombe Farm in Devon. It really was the most perfect spot, nestled in the rolling countryside and the gorgeous Raj marquee tent fitted in just wonderfully. There was a subtle lilac colour scheme with natural blooms and maids in Ghost dresses. Nikki had her elegant gown custom made, Andy wore navy and there was a scrumptious naked cake. Yes.

Thanks so much to Esme Ducker Photography for sharing these stunning images today.

THE PROPOSAL | On Chapel Porth headland in Cornwall. I was born in Cornwall and it is a place that we both love to visit. The beach is probably my favourite place to be and after a trek up the steepest route possible to the headland and out of breath, I turned around to see Andy on one knee!

THE VISION | A relaxed garden party! We wanted the day to be about all our friends and family having fun in a laid back environment where they could stumble back to tents at whatever hour they wished!

THE PLANNING PROCESS | We initially wanted to get married in Cornwall but after looking at a number of venues we decided to expand our search to Devon where we live now. Burnicombe Farm was the only venue we saw in Devon. As soon as we visited we decided it was the place for us. Everything on site, laid back environment, a camping field and the offer of good food! We met with Georgina at Burnicombe a couple of times to discuss all the finer details and then it was just left to us to sort the other bits and bobs. An arty friend of mine kindly offered to make the invitations which saved lots of time! I also used Pinterest to pick up lots of other ideas.

BUDGET | We had a budget of about £12,000 but I think we ended up going over this a little!

THE VENUE | When we visited Burnicombe Farm we knew it was perfect for us. There was lots of flexibility with the catering and timings. We were able to get married there under a willow arbour and we loved how rural it was, surrounded by countryside. Georgina was very receptive to all the ideas I had in mind and also clearly had some great suggestions of her own. We had to decide between a tipi and a raj tent for the reception but we went with the raj in the end due to it being a summer wedding and the beautiful patterns it offered on the fabric. There was a big open space for garden games including croquet, welly tossing and coconut shy. I also loved how we could camp on site - Andy and I glamped in a bridal bell tent.

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | The dress was made by Feather of Isca, Exeter. It was silk with French lace. Shoes were Else by Rainbow Club. My hair piece was a very simple wire garland with pearl beading which was made by Truly Delightful bridal shop in Totnes. All bridal and bridesmaid jewellery was from Erin Cox Jewellery.

FINDING THE DRESS | It was a nightmare! I searched and searched for something that I felt reflected the simplicity of the wedding theme and made me feel like me on the day. I had a clear vision in my mind of what I wanted all along, nothing too big and formal but couldn't find it which is why I ended up going down the bespoke route.

GROOM'S ATTIRE | A 3-piece navy blue slim flit suit with ivory tie and brown shoes and belt.

THE READINGS & MUSIC | We had 3 readings because I didn't want the ceremony to be over too quickly! A lovely Love Story by Edward Monkton; The Wedding Singer - Adam Sandler; On Your Wedding Day - Anon.

Martha Paton performed Goo Goo Dolls Iris during the bridal procession and then played a selection of her own songs after the ceremony including As We Go as we walked back up the aisle. The Flower Power Band started the party off and then we continued with a silent disco into the early hours.

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | My sister Anna Beazley and friends Sarah McCormick and Emma Mitchell all wore the novella cowl back dress by Ghost in dusk.

THE FLOWERS | Gemma at Poppys of Exeter was great and arranged flowers that matched the dusky pink/purple colour and country theme. The groom and best men wore an eryngium thistle buttonhole - Andy didn't want anything too floral!

THE CAKE | We had a 4-tier naked cake with fresh fruit made by Sim-ply Cakes. Their cakes are amazing and taste as good as they look! We also had a cheese cake provided by The Cheese Shed, Devon which was part of our evening food.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Esme Ducker was our photographer. She was great and really captured the day brilliantly. We really didn't want to spend our day posing for photos so Esme's documentary style approach matched exactly what we wanted.

THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | We had a raj tent for our marquee which provided a lot of the décor with its beautiful Indian block print on the walls and ceiling. Our centre pieces were large catering style tin cans painted in chalky colours to hold the flowers. The ceremony canopy was decorated with ivy and bunting and had hay bales to seat all the guests. We hung small metal and paper lanterns in all of the surrounding trees and had a hammock to chill out in. There was also festoon lighting and fairly lights around the outside of the raj tent. A bonfire was lit later on in the evening but I didn't even get to see that as was having too much fun on the dance floor!

THE HONEYMOON | We spent two weeks in Thailand travelling across Koh Phangan, Koh Samui and Koh Tao before our wedding. We had been to Thailand before and loved everything about it so we swanned off leaving my mum to do the last minute organising and ate and drank our body weight in delicious food and Singha beer! Not great for the wedding dress diet but we had good tans for the day!

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | The silent disco! I'd never experienced a silent disco before but we went for it to get past the noise curfew. It was brilliant - had everyone up dancing until the early hours and was so much fun! I'll also never forget the moment I arrived at the venue to see all our family and friends sat down and Andy at the front of the aisle.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Plan a day that matches your personality and interests and all of your friends and family will enter into the spirit of the day!

Get someone to film the ceremony and speeches - even if it is just with a DIY hand held camcorder. I couldn't remember any of the speeches and it was so special to watch them back and hear what everyone had to say.
