While there's, of course, a time + place for glitz + glamour, for the bride who's more of the laid back type, drawn to simple fashion, organic decor, and muted tones, today's incredible editorial - captured by Lorely Meza - is an ode to her. Tessa Shane of Rewster Kroes had a vision for an indie-luxe bridal brunch to celebrate that girl and the setting she created is as beautiful as it is unique. Teaming up with the amazing team at Found Vintage Rentals, MYMY Designs + Lavenders Flowers, she staged a minimal, but chic, tablescape and lounge that we, for sure, would love to hang out in. It'd be so perfect for a bridal shower or laid back bachelorette!

Tessa says, The incredible stone slab table was craned together the morning of the shoot, the designer chose a root system as a base with a gorgeous raw stone slab. The coffee table in the lounge is also Mylan's design, its an actual root system of a tree cut into a cube.. very very cool. I styled the lounge vignette with a sophisticated, yet eclectic California style in mind. The lounge vignette is actually a pour over coffee bar & it turned out so so great. I was going for a raw organic LA luxe. It has an indie feel to it, I like to think of it as a tad rock & roll heiress chic.

The setting was an industrial art studio in Santa Ana + a delicious menu by Wide Eyes Open Palms lent an organic feeling to the feast. Tessa tells us, Lavenders Flowers' selection of unique florals gave the table top a touch of exotic uniqueness which i also feel was important. A tiny bit of the unusual paired with luxurious details. Don't you just love the dark glass ware, wooden vessels and candle light?

Wardrobe stylist, Vivian Chan, helped the girls achieve a minimal, gorgeous look with neutral, structured pieces. And hairstylist and make up artist, Calli Mangum, gave the girls simple loose hair with a little texture, cat eyes and berry lips.
