It's no secret that Rock n Roll brides love short, 1950s style prom wedding dresses. In fact I often think it is probably the style I'd wear if I was getting married again. Not only are they super duper flattering to nearly every body shape, but the short style gives some much needed sass to a wedding day ensemble!

When my friends at True Bride, who have just launched a fifties-inspired range, got in touch to ask if I'd like to give away one of the dresses from their brand new Brighton Belle collection, after sobbing a little that I couldn't be the one to win it, I jumped at the chance!

True Bride have been around since 2005. Set up by designer Nicki Flynn who has over twenty years of experience in the industry, she launched the brand with just a very a small collection of bride and bridesmaid dresses... and she's been unstoppable ever since!
