One of the most beautiful states, Hawaii is such a desirable destination wedding location for U.S. couples. But which island should you choose for your event? Of course, on any island you could choose to get married on a sandy beach. However, if you wanted to have a more unique Hawaiian wedding, here are the elements that make each island special for your big day.

Big Island

The Big Island (Hawaii) is such a cornucopia of diverse geography and beautiful natural wonders. Exchange vows near a volcano, under a waterfall, or even on a snow-capped mountain (seriously!) for your destination wedding.

Maui

The home of the famously winding Road to Hana, Maui is an island full of striking landscapes. Find a quiet spot in the bamboo forest on the Pipiwai Trail. Or get married in a botanical garden. With so many modern amenities and Hawaiian atmosphere, this island merges convenience with natural splendor.

Oahu

Molokai

Lanai's more rustic cousin, Molokai is also less populated and caters to those seeking a quieter wedding day. It is, however, decidedly less luxurious. This is an ideal choice for couples with a small guest list that want a really simple occasion on an island largely undisturbed by tourism.

Kauai

Outdoorsy couples that want to celebrate their nuptials with a strenuous hike through rainforests and canyons need look no further than the island of Kauai. Find your bliss in a multitude of rugged and adventurous locations!
