Nicole and Zak became engaged during a winter road trip to Banff. "Zak decided to take me up the gondola and half way up the mountain he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him," Nicole remembers. "It was a very special and emotional moment."
When it came to their big day, a winter celebration in Banff was the natural choice. The pair opted for a small, intimate wedding with just 55 guests.

"The venue was exquisite, the history and the architecture of the hotel is a bride's fantasy," Nicole says.
