We've all dreamt of being shipwrecked at least once (only you know, with wifi, a hair dryer, and some food of course!).

But there's something so romantic and magical about the idea of being stranded somewhere tropical with your other half - which is perhaps why we were drawn to this beautiful beach wedding inspiration shoot by Vanessa Velez Photography.

With sea glass decor, elegant vintage style, a dreamy Puerto Rico setting - and a bridal braid we totally want to try out at home! - this shoot has heaps of ideas for an island elopement or nautical beach bash.

About the Shoot

Our shipwrecked elopement styled shoot is inspired by the sea and romance. We wanted to create a scene brought up from a shipwrecked couple who creates the wedding of their dreams from the elements of their surroundings. We whisked away to the beautiful shores of Puerto Rico to create the beautiful vignettes, inspired by all the natural colors of the beach, sand and sunset.

That make-shift tipi is so lovely, and I love the mix of washed-up decor, with chic touches like florals and linens, such a gorgeous way of tying it all together elegantly.
